Global Campus Shiremont New Hampshire USA
Global Campus Shiremont is the newest campus joining the GCF Network of Global Campuses. A core group of enthusiastic participants in the greater Lebanon, New Hampshire and White River, Vermont area launched their Soft Term in Fall 2010. Their full academic calendar began in the Spring term of 2011 with continued success and growth. Participants have been wonderful ambassadors for their campus sharing information with the community and inviting new participants to join them as they seek to continue their learning and teaching.
Here is a sample of course offerings from Spring Term 2011:
- Animal Anatomy and Physiology by Kim
- History of Germany and Disney Classics by Ashley
- Where Do I Come From (a class about genealogy and family trees) by Nissah
- The Love of Butterflies and Flowers (poetry class) and Dance to Anything by Maranda
- Pocahontas (a class about the life of the real Pocahontas) by Carla
