Global Campus Springfield Vermont USA
Global Campus Springfield began in the summer of 2008 and this fall will start its fourth full academic year. It has grown considerably in the last few years, not only in the number of participants who teach and attend classes but in their understanding that it is truly THEIR campus. This was evident during the past two years as they participated in presentations at various GCF conferences and in video projects, including a video about Global Campus Springfield. In addition, the variety of classes continues to expand as the participants develop new interests and passions.
Global Campus Springfield meets on Tuesdays from 10:00-12:00 pm and 1:00-3:00 pm at Lincoln Street in Springfield for Campus Seminar and Teaching & Learning Class. During the Fall and Spring Terms, classes are also held at various venues in the area such as the Springfield Town Library the Congregational Church and the Springfield Savings & Loan.
