Lights, camera, action! Global Campus Moretown met in person at the Savoy Theater in Montpelier, VT to celebrate and watch the film, Best Summer Ever.  It was wonderful to see everyone in person and catch-up while being able to celebrate this film’s completion and making it to the big screen.  Global Campus participants, Grace Kirpan, Faith DeFelice, Grace DeFelice, and Chris Riley all appeared in the film. The story, acting, and beautiful Vermont cinematography produced and shot by Zeno Mountain Farm is fantastic. The goal of the film was not to merely tell a story about disabilities, but rather, to make disability part of every story.  Global Campus Moretown participant, Chris Riley, who also took part in the production, said “it’s the Best Summer because this is the best movie.”

The musical includes eight original songs and features a cast and crew of people with and without disabilities. Grace Kirpan, another Global Campus Moretown participant who was in the movie said : “You can see me sing and dance like on Broadway.” The musical can be found on YouTube, Amazon, Xfinity, Hulu, and other streaming services.
